University of Canterbury

The University of Canterbury was established in 1873 by scholars from the University of Oxford and Cambridge, making it the second oldest university in New Zealand. Located in Christchurch on the South Island, it has a long-standing tradition of liberal education, scientific inquiry, and civic contribution.
